In Sakura Pink caviar leather and 24k gold plated hardware. The color is "sakura pink" as coined by Chanel vintage enthusiasts, a medium bubblegum pink named after the Japanese cherry blossom flower. There are two types of vintage sakura pink caviar - one with uniform all-over color and one where the raised part of the caviar nodes are a deeper pink and then lighten towards the bottom of the nodes. This is the latter, only found in the 8 million series from 2003-2004, and harder to find pristine. Check out the crisp defined nodes on the corners and edges and the crisp, clean edges of the hologram sticker - signs of non-use. In caviar leather, the classic flap is durable with the pebbled grain nodes of calfskin leather. This is a collector's piece, and the only one on the market as of the time of this posting with all-original (non-replaced) hardware.
This item is in pristine, like-new condition with virtually no signs of wear. It looks like it was carried less than a handful of times, if at all. Corners are clean with no rubbing or scuffing. Hardware is clean and shiny. It is a deep, yellow 24k gold plated hardware which is impossible now to find in stores as it is no longer produced. Interior is clean.
